TrustPower is to buy back up to two million of its shares on-market.
The company today said opportunities to buy shares at attractive levels may arise in the current volatile financial market environment.
The buyback is to be carried out between May 31 and October 29.
TrustPower shares were up 5c to $7.25 in early trading.
