Jan Cameron, the former co-owner of outdoor clothing and equipment retailer Kathmandu, has increased her holding in Postie Plus Group Ltd to 19.26 percent.
A substantial security holder notice to the NZX revealed the holding had risen from 17.76 percent. The notice said the increase was achieved by buying 600,000 shares on market on July 5 for $180,000.
Investors increasing a holding above 20 percent are required to make a full or partial offer to all shareholders.
Ms Cameron, an Australian, received a Queen's Birthday honour for philanthropy in New Zealand this year.
Postie Plus operates 79 Postie stores in New Zealand.
