Firefighters battle garage blaze in Lawrence

    Two appliances are attending a garage fire which caught alight in Lawrence.

    A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said the fire was not yet contained but "was not going to go anywhere.''

    Another crew from Lawrence was arriving shortly, he said.
