Orca and GDS garage door openers sold in New Zealand since 2006 are being recalled because of the risk of an electric shock.
Consumer.org said anyone coming in contact with some of the interior and exterior parts of the electric overhead unit could get an electric shock .
Anyone who had either of the garage door opener models was advised to immediately unplug the garage door motor unit and phone 0800 600 789 for more information.
