She and Hunter Walker, of Kyeburn, were second in the competition, behind winners Jessica Michels, of Invercargill, and Ben Smith, of Naseby (below).

They were among eight mixed doubles teams, who came from as far away as Auckland for the championships.

The winners will go on to represent New Zealand at the World Mixed Doubles Championship in Finland, in January next year.
