This week's winner is Julian Price, of Oamaru, for his tongue-in-cheek letter, directed at Mayor Dave Cull, about grazing his sheep at Forsyth Barr Stadium. He receives a copy of Siege (Random House), by Simon Kernick. Julian's letter, which was published on Tuesday.
Dunedin Mayor Dave Cull says Forsyth Barr Stadium is not primarily used for rugby (ODT, 31.3.12). It is obvious that the stadium is primarily used for the indoor growing of grass so I am wondering what it would cost to graze my hoggets there for a few weeks after shearing?
