A passion for bears

Lawrence teddy bear-maker Ros Cheyne, cuddling Sassy the Bear, has expanded her operation by opening a studio outside her Hill St house.

Ms Cheyne said she was fulfilling a long-held dream by opening the Country Bear Patch, which was open from 2pm to 5pm daily.

Making the bears had become a passion and she enjoyed making them for others to enjoy, she said.
