A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after coming off their bike near Beaumont this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said police were notified at 2.30pm after a motorcyclist came off their bike and fell down a bank on the Beaumont Highway.
A rescue helicopter was dispatched from Dunedin and the person suffered serious injuries, she said.
