Police have identified a man who asked to take photographs during a pre-school swim class at the Waitaki Aquatic Centre last week and then photographed women in the Oamaru Public Gardens.
Yesterday, Senior Constable Bruce Dow thanked members of the public for their assistance, following publicity about the man.
The man, who lives in Timaru, was now being sought by police in relation to his actions, he said.
