A man has died after a ute rolled in a paddock near Dunback this afternoon.
A rescue helicopter was dispatched to the rural property in Stoneburn Rd, near Golden Bar and Palmerston-Dunback Roads, after the vehicle was reported to have rolled at 4.22pm.
Police said in a statement a 50-year-old man who was traveling in the vehicle was declared dead at the scene. The other occupant, a 21-year-old man, sustained moderate injuries and was flown from the scene to Dunedin hospital.
The Serious Crash Unit and WorkSafe have been notified.
