The slip-plagued section of Moeraki's Haven St is being replaced with a footpath.

Waitaki District Council roading engineer Michael Voss said the new Haven St footpath was scheduled for completion by Christmas.
The alternative road access into Moeraki was also being upgraded. Haverford St, which runs from the Moeraki port area up the hill to Tenby St, was being reformed and resealed.
