A North Otago man was seriously injured after his quad bike rolled at a rural property at Island Cliff, inland from Oamaru, yesterday.
The incident was reported to police, who did not attend the scene at Tilverstowe Rd, about 5.30pm.
St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said the patient was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital in a serious condition.
His age was not available.
Sgt Tony Woodbridge, of Oamaru, said Worksafe had been notified and have launched an investigation into the accident.
No further information was available.
