Adventure racers ready to roll

The Wanaka team that finished fifth in last year's GODZone Adventure race is preparing for the next 530km event, due to start in Kaikoura early today.

R & R Sport Torpedo 7 is one of 41 four-person teams expecting to race day and night for up to eight days with nothing more than a map and compass to guide them along a route that requires mountain biking, kayaking, whitewater canoeing and mountain running.
