Dressed and ready

Queenstown Primary School pupils give one of two dress-rehearsal performances of their ''Stars on Stage'' dance routine to other pupils yesterday.

The school is one of more than 30 from Otago and Southland taking part in the biennial event, which will be held tonight at Dunedin's Regent Theatre.

The 56-strong troupe has been rehearsing its performance, which its members helped to choreograph, for the past six weeks.

Stars on Stage is billed as a a celebration of the arts for primary and intermediate-age children, and is now in its 14th year.
