A wealth of prizes to rival gold, frankincense and myrrh have been organised for two fundraising raffles drawn during The Spirit of Christmas concert on December 7.

The 24-strong Corus Children's Choir (several members are pictured above in their yellow uniforms and in nativity costumes during a rehearsal last week), along with the 30-strong Queenstown Community Choir, are preparing to bring festive joy to the Wakatipu by singing a mixture of traditional carols, New Zealand favourites and less familiar songs of the season.

Gold coin tickets for raffles for both choirs are available now and all proceeds will go towards Wakatipu Victim Support.

The Spirit of Christmas is performed in the Red Barn market venue, near Remarkables Park Town Centre, on December 7 at 4pm. Admission is free for all and any donations will be welcome.
