Respiratory issues to fore

New Zealand and Australian scientists are in Queenstown for a two-day annual scientific meeting, discussing respiratory issues.

The meeting, held at the Hilton Hotel, hosts representatives of the Thoracic Society and Respiratory Society from both countries.

It is the largest gathering of respiratory physicians, advanced trainees, respiratory nurses and sleep physiologists in the country.

Features of the programme included a practical bronchoscopy workshop, sessions on hypoxia, and guest medical speakers from Wellington and Newcastle.
