Diaries Down Under is a five-part web episode series, which has been filmed in Queenstown and surrounds, and features top New Zealand snowboarder Nick Hyne, pro surfer Maz Quinn and others.
The series will be shown on a screen in the arrival lounge at Queenstown Airport.
Cameraman Ben Ryan asked where else it was possible to surf and snowboard in the same day "with two such amazing backdrops".
"If you aren't already here, this video will make you wish you were".
For the surfing segment, the boarders and surfers were flown by helicopter to Martins Bay, at the mouth of the Hollyford River, on the West Coast.
Destination Queenstown chief executive Graham Budd commended the series as a successful tool for targeting the youth demographic when marketing the resort as a "must visit" winter destination.
"Diaries Down Under is a fun and fresh way to highlight what Queenstown and the surrounding region has to offer; from world-famous terrain, to stunning scenery, activities and apres ski." The series is expected to attract a web audience of 120,000 per episode and an Australian television audience of 500,000 per episode.
