Cardrona Alpine Resort skiers will have to pay an extra $15 this year for an "early bird" adult season pass, and other ski resort patrons face prices hikes of $70 and $90.
A Cardrona adult early bird season pass will cost $585, child passes $135, student passes $520 and veteran passes $260.
Loyalty discounts of between $5 and $20 are also available to 2010 pass holders.
Last week, Treble Cone announced its early bird prices, with an adult season pass costing $1069, an increase of $70.
NZSki also announced its early prices, which vary depending on the number of skifields skiers wish to visit.
The adult season pass for Coronet Peak and the Remarkables has gone up $90 to $889.
However, the three-mountain pass (which includes Mt Hutt in Canterbury) stays the same at $999, and a Remarkables-only pass is also unchanged from last year at $499.
Cardrona sales and marketing manager Nadia Ellis yesterday said the 2011 prices remained good value, given significant investments in facilities and infrastructure.
Contractors were making "excellent progress" on phase two of the Valley View development, she said.
A new snow-making system is being installed to service expanded terrain accessed by the Valley View quad chairlift.
