It is a performing arts extravaganza in which all the entertainers are aged 13 or under but already exhibit huge talent.
All performers are pupils at Arrowtown Primary School and they are rehearsing day and night in readiness for opening night on October 28.
It is the school's most ambitious production to date.
The musical powerhouse behind it is Karen Neill, who heads the School of Rock at Arrowtown Primary.
Her stated aim on taking up the post was to ensure all pupils left the school knowing how to play a musical instrument.
She seems well on the way to achieving her goal and has instilled a love of music among her young charges.
When the school's board of trustees decided it would be a good idea to make a show of the diversity of talent, Neill took up the challenge of organising the extravaganza.
It has been a huge undertaking, especially since the decision to do it was made just a couple of weeks before the end of last term.
The acts include rock bands, a ukulele orchestra, modern and ballet dancers and violin and guitar performances.
Audiences will not be surprised to see the grandchildren of local entrepreneur and staunch supporter of the arts Michael Hill on stage.
Oliver Hill will be showing his skills on the violin, while brother Nathan strums the guitar.
The son of Dave Gent, the Arrowtown-based former bass player of the Exponents, is also playing a big part in the show.
Nemo Gent is bound to surprise when he fronts a Rocky Horror Show tribute in the opening act.
The youngest performer is just 5 years old and Ms Neill said she was very proud of each and every one for their commitment and hard work.
It was living proof what our children could achieve with the safety, guidance and dedication of a passionate teacher, she said.
And her message? "Always believe in yourselves and never say things like 'I can't do that' or 'it's too hard'."
• The Arrowtown Primary School's extravaganza opens at the school hall next Tuesday, October 28, with a matinee at 1pm.
There is another show at 7 pm and again the following night.
Tickets are now on sale.
