More than 300 people attended the Queenstown RSA's specially commissioned Anzac Day concert Music While You Work, performed on Wednesday afternoon and evening in the Queenstown Memorial Hall.

The World War 2-themed show - staged as a radio show performed in front of a live studio audience - featured a host of Queenstown talent, along with Dougal Stevenson, a fixture on New Zealand television screens in the 1970s and 1980s.

The audience was treated to a look at what life was like for those on the home front during wartime.

The concert doubled as a fundraiser for the Memorial Hall upgrade.
