Southern Infrastructure is hosting a free online webinar on July 6 for Whakatipu residents to learn more about its proposed Queenstown Cable Car project.
Southern Infrastructure chief executive and director Ross Copland says the webinar will provide an update on recent project developments and explore how the cable car system could connect with wider transport solutions, including public transport, park-and-ride facilities and active travel networks.
Copland says it’s an opportunity to hear directly from the project team and learn more about how ropeway technology is being used around the world.
"We want this to be an open and informative discussion where people can ask questions and explore the opportunities and challenges involved."
