Pedestrian injured after hit by bus

A pedestrian has been taken to Queenstown's Lakes District Hospital after being hit by a bus.

A police media spokeswoman says police were called at 2.05pm to the corner of Gorge Road and Turner St, near the town's central business district.

"It looks like a pedestrian's been hit by a bus.

"[They've been] taken to hospital with possible concussion."

The police's commercial vehicle inspection unit attended the crash.
