Mr Bradshaw (66) was reported missing from his Cameron Pl home on Wednesday afternoon by his wife Mary.
Police and search and rescue volunteers had scoured the area for any sign of him.
Mr Bradshaw was a past president of the Otago Ski Club, a keen member of the Fernhill Sunshine Bay Community Association and had only recently stepped down from the chairman's position.
He was also a regular and keen walker in the Fernhill area and had worked at the St Moritz Queenstown hotel for seven of the 10 years it had been open, until his retirement last year.
Senior Sergeant John Fookes said Mr Bradshaw's body was found at 10am yesterday, near Two Mile Creek.
His death had been referred to the coroner.
