Another dog attack on sheep at an Albert Town farm has stock manager Alistair McLeod seeing red.
Last week, at least 11 lambs at rural property "Riverrun" - between the older residential part of Albert Town and the Cardrona River - were killed and several ewes badly mauled by a dog, in an identical fashion to two other attacks on the same mob in June.
"It's the same dog I'm picking because it's handled them in the same way. It's bitten them on the head," Mr McLeod said.
"We've had enough ... it's bloody disappointing.
"The owner of the dog will know it's their dog doing it and they really need to come clean ...
it's not fair on the animals, it's not fair on the people who own them."
He issued a warning to dog owners that any dogs found roaming in paddocks at the property would be "dealt with".
When spoken to after the attack, Mr McLeod had only found five dead lambs. However, his wife Karen said yesterday they had since found six others.
