Police rushed to the Queenstown District Court yesterday after a violent incident in the courthouse’s foyer about 2.20pm.
Police said a 47-year-old Queenstown man had been charged with disorder, a 40-year-old woman had been charged with assaulting police and disorder and a 42-year-old woman was facing charges of common assault, speaking threateningly, disorderly behaviour and resisting police.
The man, who was taken into custody, is expected to appear in the court today on his original charges and new offences. — Allied Media
