Part of the Otago Careers Festival, the event featured about 30 stalls inside the Telford Rural Polytechnic gymnasium, and industry demonstrations around the grounds.
It attracted hundreds of school pupils, all eager for a taste of various careers.
It offered advice and information on everything from careers in veterinary science and accounting to banking and the Navy.
Clutha organiser Marilyn Sayers, Telford's marketing manager, said the event was about giving people of all ages a chance to talk to staff in various industries and learn more, as they considered what career to pursue.
Some of Clutha's biggest industries were represented, including Silver Fern Farms, Fonterra, and Calder Stewart Industries.
