Clutha Mayor Bryan Cadogan is gearing up for ‘‘soapbox meetings'' as part of consultations on the council's proposed plans for the Clutha District.
‘‘We're trying to formulate a battle plan for every community.''
The meetings provided an opportunity for residents to discuss what was happening in the annual plan.
Mr Cadogan will stop in Kaka Point, Owaka, Clinton, Tapanui and Lawrence on April 9 and on April 10 he will stop in Balclutha, Kaitangata, Taieri Mouth and Milton.
