A car caught fire in the early hours of this morning after crashing through a fence near Gore.
A police spokeswoman said the car crashed into a fence at the intersection of Glenkenich Rd and Waikaka Rd in Maitland.
It was reported to police about 4.45am and there was no mention of any injuries.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said the fire was extinguished and it was left in the hands of police.
