The comments made by Caroline Eve store manager Christine Sinclair after a car ploughed through the front window of the shop at Don St in Invercargill.
Staff and customers were in the store at 1.40pm when the accident happened however no-one was in the vicinity of the window when the car made its entrance.
Police, fire and ambulance all attended the scene.
A police spokesman confirmed there was only one person in the vehicle.
An ambulance spokesman said there was one female patient who received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Mrs Sinclair said her job was now to try and clean up the glass and get the building secure once the car had been removed.
