It was a chain day for skiers in two-wheel-drive vehicles heading for the two Wanaka skifields yesterday.
Treble Cone staff member Canadian Andy Boxleitner (22, rear) is pictured helping Fred Percival (left) and Dragana Ignjatovic, of Auckland, fit chains to their vehicle.
After a late start, Treble Cone is now well covered with 1.2m of snow at the base and 1.55m at the summit.
Cardrona has 70cm at the base and 1m at the summit.
