A motorist is injured after a crash on the Crown Range Rd this morning.

A police spokeswoman said the Toyota vehicle rolled on the road 7km from Cardrona Village about 11am.

The driver was the only person involved in the single-vehicle crash, she said.

The scene was attended by police, volunteer firefighters and an ambulance.

St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said ambulance staff from Wanaka treated the patient at the scene with moderate to minor injuries.

A tow truck was arranged to remove the vehicle.

Both lanes of the road remain open.
