Pedestrian struck by car in Wanaka

A person is in Dunstan Hospital after being struck by a car in Wanaka early this morning.

A police spokeswoman said the pedestrian was struck in Hedditch St about 3.10am.

A St John ambulance spokeswoman said they were taken to Dunstan Hospital by ambulance, with moderate injuries.

No charges have been laid yet and police are continuing to investigate the incident.
