The Wānaka Showgrounds and Pembroke Park were packed yesterday for the Wānaka A&P Show, one of New Zealand's largest agricultural, pastoral and community events.

The event, which was opened by Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, is expected to draw more than 40,000 people by the time it wraps up this afternoon.
