Otago guard Nicole Ruske and Southland forward Aliyah Dunn have been named in the final Junior Tall Ferns squad.
The squad will travel to Fiji to play in the Fiba under-18 Oceania championships next month, beginning on December 5.
Ruske, a year 12 pupil at St Hilda's Collegiate, was recently named co-most valuable player of the Otago under-23 team that finished runner-up at national championships.
A regular in national teams throughout the age grades, she battled back from an ankle injury earlier in the year to play for the team at the Hoop Nation tournament last month.
For Dunn, a year 12 Verdon College pupil, the accolade comes just weeks after being named as a triallist for the national under-21 netball team.
The team will be coached by Otago coach Brent Matahare, while Otago Goldrush player Janet Main is the team's physio.
The Junior Tall Ferns have a tough task ahead of them, having to beat last year's under-17 world-champion Australians to gain automatic qualification to next year's under-19 world championships.
