Dunedin's Mike Kernaghan won his fourth New Zealand bowls title in the fours at the national championships at Mosgiel today.
The Composite team comprising Kernaghan (Kaikorai), Mike Nagy (Taren Point), Tony Grantham (Birkenhead) and Andrew Kelly (Redcliffs) beat the Dunedin Composite team of Mitchell Will, Keri Rupene, Brendon Hollander and Doug Thomas 19-10.
The women's fours final was won by the Composite team of Selina Goddard (Carlton Cornwall), Gemma Watts (United, Nelson), Amy McIlroy (United) and Mandy Boyd (Burnside) that beat the Taieri Plains team of Beth Brown, Jean Young, Judy Robertson and Sue Hodges 20-18 in a tight game.
