While most cricket fans have had Monday's one-day international marked on their calendar, 300 budding young cricketers have been looking forward to tomorrow even more.
The Black Caps will be in Dunedin to play Bangladesh in the second of three one-day games and will pass on some of their knowledge during a skills coaching session at Logan Park tomorrow.
The skills session is open to school-aged cricketers who register online.
Up to six Black Caps will spend about an hour and a-half putting the next generation through their paces.
The skills day starts at 3.30pm and goes to 8pm.
The Black Caps are scheduled to arrive at 4.30pm.
Former Black Caps all-rounder Chris Harris is the ambassador and will be on hand.
"We know that local and regional cricket is where the Black Caps cricket players of the future are going to come from.
"So the team sees it as a priority to get involved to nurture cricket's development in all areas, whether they are coaches or players," he said in a press release.
A coaching clinic for 16 of the region's coaches will also be held at the University Oval Longroom from 1.30pm to 3pm.
The Black Caps will train at the University Oval from 10am to 1pm tomorrow and Bangladesh from 2pm to 5pm.
