The 28-year-old electrician will be the fifth Green Island player to reach the milestone, joining Grant Payne (251), Shane Robinson (240), Jeremy Scott (234) and Dion Lobb (232).
Since making his senior debut in 2000, Joyce, a right-arm batsman and offbreak bowler, has fashioned an impressive record. He has scored 4759 runs at an average of 27, including three 100s, and has taken 316 wickets at 18.1, including nine five-wicket bags.
He is the club's second-leading scorer behind Robinson (7395) and fourth-leading wicket-taker behind Payne (649), Lobb (402) and Scott (349). He's grabbed 85 catches.
During his tenure with the club, Green Island has won five senior club titles and four national club titles.
"It is definitely a milestone I feel quite proud of," Joyce said.
"I'm only the fifth player in our club's history to do it. So it is going to be a proud day but, hopefully, I've got a few more years left yet to knock up a few more games."
Joyce has been on the fringe of the Otago squad "off and on for six or seven years", playing in trial matches during that time. Cracking the squad remains a goal.
"I guess it is a goal for most players. But if I make it, I make it. If I don't then I'm focused on playing well and trying to be consistent for Green Island. And if anything else comes of it then it is a bonus."
Joyce said the highlight of his career was his maiden century for the club - a massive undefeated innings of 172, scored against University-Grange about three years ago.
It remains the equal-highest individual score for the club. Joyce shares the record with former test opener and Otago captain Craig Cumming.
