Otago secures first innings lead over CD

Otago has bowled out Central Districts for 359 and have secured a first innings lead of 154 at tea on day three of its Plunket Shield game at the University Oval.

Seamer Jacob Duffy worked tirelessly and was rewarded with three 84, while Michael Rae and Neil Wagner grabbed two apiece.

For CD, former international Jesse Ryder and Black Caps limited-overs player Tom Bruce provided some resistance, scoring 56 and 57 respectively.

At Seddon Park, Auckland is chasing 72 to beat Northern Districts and a short time ago was 58 for one.
