New Zealand was missed out on a medal in the men's track cycling team pursuit in Rio this morning.

In the bronze medal ride, finished 2.64sec behind Denmark, and came fourth.

Bradley Wiggins led Britain to track cycling team pursuit gold in a thrilling final against Australia.

Britain were trailing for most of the 4000m race but stormed back to win in 3min 50.265sec.

Victory meant Wiggins, 36, became Britain's most decorated Olympian, with eight medals.
