Melbourne Victory rose to fifth on the A-League table after a dramatic 3-2 away win over the Wellington Phoenix men at Sky Stadium.
Sebastian Esposito, Nishan Velupillay and Louis D’Arrigo were the goal-scorers for the Victory, while for the Phoenix Carlo Armiento scored one and put in the corner that led to Roderick Miranda scoring a late own goal.
The Phoenix stay in 10th and will now travel to Commbank Stadium to take on wooden-spooners Western Sydney Wanderers on Friday in search of a much-needed win.— Allied Media
