The Otago Golf Club is hosting some of the elite young players in New Zealand at the South Island age group championships this week.
Robby Turnbull, Chloe Lam, Ricky Kang and Lannie Inoue lead their respective age groups after a challenging second round of scoring yesterday, as only eight players shot rounds of even-par or better.

Turnbull (under-19 boys) has a three-shot lead; Lam (under-19 girls) leads by two; Wakatipu junior Kang (under-16 boys) has a whopping nine-shot lead; and Japanese golfer Inoue (under-16 girls) is clear by nine shots.
