The decision of Dexter Dunn to drive Angela's Dream in the Oamaru Cup on grass tomorrow is a vote of confidence in the mare.

She is among three candidates for the race Dunn has driven in last-start wins. The others are Niraadi and The Adman.

Angela's Dream won on grass at Motukarara last Sunday. Niraadi won the Reefton Cup on December 30 and The Adman won at Forbury Park on January 22.

Angela's Dream and The Adman are trained by Dunn's employer, West Melton trainer Cran Dalgety.

The Adman overcame a 30m handicap at Forbury Park. He is the backmarker on 40m tomorrow with Peter Davis the driver.

John Dunn has the drive on Niraadi.

Roses In May, a last-start winner on the all-weather track at Oamaru on January 13, is well placed off the front. She has won eight races.

Ohoka Nevada, winner of five, including the Marlborough Cup at his last start, is off 20m.

Ohoka Nevada, who won twice on grass at Westport last month, will be driven by Blair Orange, with trainer David Butt at Foxton.

Bon Ton Boy has entered the field with scratchings. He won the race last year for the John Hay stable.

The Pacing Priest (race 10) and Mooloolaba (race 6), who have both been racing to good purpose on grass and all-weather tracks, appeal tomorrow.

The Pacing Priest has won at Oamaru and Westport. Mooloolaba won at Cromwell and finished second to Domination at Oamaru.

Waihemo Cullen, winner of five races including the 2008 Cromwell Cup, has been exported to Australia.

Waihemo Cullen, who was trained by Andrew Faulks, has not raced since February last year.
