Fans of All Black fullback Mils Muliaina are disappointed broadcasters chose not to broadcast a ceremony to commemorate the veteran's 100th test.

Muliaina became only the second All Black player to reach 100 tests and was presented with a commemorative cap by Jock Hobbs following New Zealand's quarterfinal win over Argentina at Eden Park last night.

Some fans wrote of their disappointment on the official All Blacks website that the presentation was not broadcast on television.

"I wanted to hear his acceptance speech etc but they cut away to interview Henry. What a bummer. Grrrr universal sports. Anyhow congrats to Mils,'' Tiaregirl wrote.

Jackman said Mils has been a "star, a role model and a gentleman of the game'', but was disappointed Sky opted not to show the presentation.

"Disgusting. Who would want to listen to more of TJ and Foxy's dribble rather than see Mills get his cap. Sky sports need a bullet!!''

A "Give Mils the credit he deserves; broadcast his 100th test cap presentation'' Facebook page has been started, although it had only 10 members at noon.

A presentation for Richie McCaw when he reached 100 tests against France was broadcast.

Radio Sport broadcast Muliaina's presentation but the audio quality and crowd noise means parts of both Hobbs and Muliaina's speeches are inaudible.

Hobbs paid tribute to Muliaina's career before placing the cap on his head, and giving the veteran a hug.

"A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of capping our first All Black in history to play 100 test matches. Today, tonight, we have the privilege of capping our second centenarian, Mils Muliaina.''

Hobbs said Muliaina's family were present for the "very, very special presentation''.

"A hundred tests, three of them as captain, he's played at centre, wing, full back, he's played them all with integrity, he's played them with courage, boldness, a wonderful counter-attacker with the rugby ball. He's just an outstanding rugby player. He's done an outstanding service to New Zealand rugby and for the All Blacks jersey.''

Much of what Mils had to say is inaudible, but he thanked Hobbs, the team for the victory and his family. He also told the almost-sellout crowd it had been an honour to represent New Zealand.
