Waitaki Boys' High School have convincingly beat St Kevin's College 39-17 to win the highly anticipated interschool rugby clash in Oamaru.
Waitaki Boys' were up 19-14 at halftime and piled on 20 unanswered points to win the contest, known as the Blood Match, to round out Waitaki Week at Milner Park this afternoon.
It is the third straight year Waitaki Boys' have retained the Leo O'Malley Trophy, known as The Peanut.
They won the title outright in 2024 and retained the title last year after a 19-19 draw against St Kevin's.
Waitaki Boys' last won more than two on in a row when they won five consecutive games between 2008 and 2012.
