Highlanders miss skill of Smith

It wasn't the game I really wanted to be at - the zoo was closed and so the atmosphere was different.

We had lots of opportunities but we made mistakes and the Stormers just pounced on us.

The Stormers tries were both right in front of us and it was almost like we let them go through. The second try was a really skilful one.

Ben Smith played well until he got injured. We really missed his skill.

Jimmy Cowan on his hundredth game was disappointed that he couldn't pick up a win.

Jason Rutledge on his 50th game for the Highlanders also would be disappointed.

In the end it was a well-deserved win to the Stormers. They remain 1st on the table.
