'Landers going 'Braveheart' route for Lions challenge?

The Highlanders have made a parody of Mel Gibson's stirring speech in the film Braveheart ahead of their Lions encounter tonight.

Is this a clue to what the Highlanders special challenge is to the Lions tonight?  It has been a closely guarded secret and has been said to reflect the region the franchise represents.

All five New Zealand franchises will do a challenge against the Lions but only the Blues, Crusaders and the Chiefs will perform haka.

The Hurricanes and the Highlanders will also offer challenges but they will not be haka.

Highlanders chief executive Roger Clark said previously the squad had met and wanted to issue a challenge but it was felt it would not be appropriate to do a haka.

Instead, it would be a Scottish-themed challenge which would reflect the provinces the Highlanders represented.
