Smith to bring up 150th appearance

Ben Smith will make his 150th appearance for the Highlanders on Friday night.

The co-captain and fullback will bring up the milestone against the Crusaders in Christchurch.

He leads a line-up which has made several changes to last week's loss to the Hurricanes.

Josh Ioane reprises his starting No10 role, in place of the injured Marty Banks.

Likewise Rob Thompson will start at centre after Richard Buckman's injury.

Daniel Lienert-Brown replaces Ayden Johnstone at loosehead prop. while Pari Pari Parkinson comes in for Josh Dickson at lock.

In the loose forwards Elliot Dixon starts at No8 in place of Luke Whitelock.
