Kneebone set piece coach

Simon Kneebone has been appointed Black Ferns assistant coach, rounding out the team’s coaching staff as they prepare for a big season ahead.

Kneebone, who will focus on the set piece, joins a previously announced coaching make-up of head coach Whitney Hansen and returning assistant coaches Tony Christie (attack) and Riki Flutey (defence).

Kneebone started as forwards coach for Canterbury in the Farah Palmer Cup, helping them win back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019 before returning in 2024.

He was an assistant coach with Matatū in Super Rugby Aupiki last year and also joined the Black Ferns XV for their inaugural tour of South Africa. — Allied Media
