Otago Boys' High School and John McGlashan College will contest the Otago premier schools final after recording contrasting wins in their respective semifinals.
Otago Boys' was too strong for Dunstan High School, winning 43-10, while McGlashan edged King's High School 12-10 in another typically tense encounter between the two schools.
In the bottom six competition, Otago Boys' 2nd XV dispatched Taieri College 62-5 in one semifinal with St Kevin's College beating South Otago High School 20-5 in the other.
