Two changes in Baby Landers team

Highlanders under-20 coach Ryan Bambry has made two changes to the starting line-up for his team’s final game at the national tournament in Taupo.

Speedy outside back Oliver Foote returns from injury and replaces Bradley McPate on the wing for the game against the Chiefs this afternoon.

In the pack, Heath MacEwan will start at openside flanker, meaning Hayden Michaels shifts to blindside and Will Stodart drops to the bench.

Bambry has gone for a six-two split on the bench, with McPate and halfback Brad Campbell providing cover in the backs.

The Baby Landers team bounced back from a 43-24 defeat to the Barbarians with a convincing 40-29 win against the Blues on Wednesday.

The Chiefs dispatched the Hurricanes 58-26 on Wednesday, but were edged 32-31 by the Crusaders in their opening game.

Bambry said the Chiefs were a very good side.

"They’ve got a lot of returning guys from last year’s squad where they were really successful," he said.

"They will look to take us on physically and they are big and direct.

"That is where they will look to get a lot of their momentum from."

The game kicks off at 3pm.
